NO, I repeat, DO NOT Do not use Hartz dog especially a puppy! Hartz flea products is one of the more dangerous out there! Hartz and other counters (Zodiac, Sargent, bio-surfaces, etc.) causes skin irritation, skin burns, seizures, neurological disorders and even lead to death.

Ask your veterinarian and get a security product such as Frontline flea.

Hartz is really bad. I've seen too much damage comes from Hartz. It is better to spend more money for a good product like Frontline or Advantage Plus. Make sure the label indicates that it is safe for puppies 8wks or more and get the correct weight range.

You get a sick dog. In fact, it's nothing. At 8 weeks, you can use Frontline Plus or Advantage, to work better and are much less toxic.

I avoid any of the major complaints against fleas. I got my dog and she became very ill. Stick to something you recommend your veterinarian. It may be a little more expensive, but it is not worth your puppy?
